I havent done anything in a while, so I buckled down and started one. I had another idea in mind, but with the help ofmorningrise, I ended up with this. Thanks to morningrise for the help, and to dream for the stock. What do you think?

Fantastic piece! :) Believe it or not, I had to look at this piece 3 times before I saw the shadow of the moustache... and finally realized the strands of hair in the lower center portion of the piece(I was trying to figure out how you rendered the "whisker" strands so cleanly) were part of a beard. I haven't had any coffee yet this morning. :slow: Talk about being smacked in the face with the obvious... ;)

Very powerful interpretation. I love it! :D Good, good, good, good work!

Thanks so much :D I'm glad you like it. I worked very hard on this piece, and I havemorningrise to thank for his " guidance " if you will. It gives me great pleasure to create pieces like these for people like you, who give such specific synopsis' of my pieces ( rather than comments like " COOL! " or " AWESOME " ) Thank you so much, and hopefully I'll use your stock again sometime.

I was actually trying to apply brevity in my post. ;) I have a tendency to want to ask a lot of questions and ramble about little intricacies when talking to someone about their art. :slow: So don't encourage me to get bookish on you... bad idea. :D

haha. I dont only encourage it, I........ENCOURAGE IT!!! >.< Frankly, getting bookish is probably the best thing you could do ( for my sake ) I'd like to know what people ( especially those whom I got the stocks from ) think about the overall piece, a piece of it, or a section. I welcome constructive critism.
